Which PGA TOUR pros will be among the Top 100 Players to Watch in 2013 when
the season kicks off the first week in January at the Hyundai Tournament of
Champions?
This is the fifth consecutive year that PGATOUR.COM has previewed the
upcoming season with its Top 100 list. The names and order of this list were
determined during mulltiple discussions among PGATOUR.COM staffers and other
officials.
We did have certain criteria for inclusion into the Top 100 list. Among those
players who received automatic spots on the list:
• Every player who won a PGA TOUR event in 2012
• Every player who
finished in the top 70 in FedExCup points after the 2012 FedExCup Playoffs
•
The top five players on the final 2012 Web.com Tour money list (in other words,
the top five of 'The 25')
The remainder of the list was filled with wildcard picks, players we
considered worthy of being included.
For the first time, we are putting our individual player previews into the
TOUR Report, which will allow you, the reader, to discuss and weigh in on each
player.
